About this speaker
Liz has worked in housing for 14 years and the last 8 in strategic housing with responsibility for oversight and implementation of Hull’s Housing Strategy and Preventing Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy.
Liz has led on the Empty Homes Programme, Affordable Warmth and New Build Housing. More recently Liz has led on securing funding and delivering the Rough Sleeping Initiative and Rapid Rehousing Pathway Programmes and has implemented the MEAM approach in Hull.
Liz worked as part of Hull’s Homeless Task Force, set up at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, to implement a range of provision to deliver the ‘Everyone In’ policy and successfully bid for Next Steps Accommodation Programme funding to continue this vital work.
Liz has a Masters degree in Housing and is a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
