About this speaker
Pat McArdle has been a campaigner for social justice for over 30 years. Originally from Northern Ireland, Pat’s first paid position began working alongside people who had become caught up in the mental health system in Handsworth in Birmingham in 1990.
Pat has worked in the field of homelessness in Ireland and England, most recently as CEO of Mayday Trust, an organisation that has transformed from trying to end homelessness for women and men with complex needs to a social change organisation influencing for a paradigm shift in systems available to people going through tough times.
