About this Talk
This session will give an overview of a co-produced peer mentoring project running in Basingstoke by OutcomeHome. We review the psychologically-informed peer model used and highlight resources used in building this project. The session will discuss the background of the project (funding, contextual factors, and guiding principles).
Peer mentors review case examples of the work that we do and the ways in which we help to prevent eviction and reduce rough. These examples will outline the changes to the programme and highlight issues around implementation. Additionally, focus on the training for the peers, supervision, and progression of the peers will be described.
